The pine is heavy or yellow. Photo and description

Pine is heavy, yellow, or as it is also called Oregon, a tree native to the forests of North America. This pine tree is even a symbol of the state of Montana. In natural habitat, the growth of a tree can reach 70 meters, in artificial conditions, a little more than 5 meters. The shape of the crown is pyramidal, while the tree is young, it becomes oval closer to maturity. There are not many branches on the tree, they are skeletal and outstretched, at the ends they are curved upwards.

Heavy pine has a thick bark (8-10 cm), red-brown in color, cracked into large plates. The cones of this tree are terminal and are collected in whorls (4-6 pieces each), the length can reach 15 cm with a thickness of up to 6 cm. Pine seeds are winged. This tree has a gorgeous very long needles (up to 25 cm), collected three together (three coniferous pine) and has a dark green color. Due to the long needles, the top of the tree may appear slightly blurred, sloppy and bald.

Being at a young age, pine can freeze under low temperature conditions. At the same time, the tree easily tolerates drought and gets along well in sandy and rocky areas.
