Furacilin from late blight on tomatoes: how to use

Phytophthora on tomatoes

After planting in the ground, young tomato seedlings are quite defenseless against damage from various diseases. She is not able to withstand minor frosts or gluttonous pests. The most important enemy for a tomato in the garden is a dangerous fungal disease - late blight.

Late blight is the defeat of a plant by lower fungi that parasitize it. They provoke the appearance of rot and wilting of the vegetable crop. The disease is spread by fungal spores. They infect not only the plants themselves, but also the soil on which the tomatoes grow. Wet rainy weather increases the likelihood of damage and the rate of spread of late blight. Late blight also activates in the second half of summer, when the difference between the air temperature readings increases during the day and at night.

The first signs of phytophthora on tomatoes are the appearance of gray-brown spots on the stems and leaves. They appear on the lower tiers of the tomato and spread very quickly to the whole plant.

To protect young tomato plants from phytophthora infection, they must be treated with special agents. One of the most effective is furacilin.
