Zircon is a plant treatment agent that regulates root formation, plant growth, fruiting and flowering levels. The drug makes plants more resistant to various diseases and attacks of harmful insects.
Action and properties of zircon
A fertilizer such as zircon is often used for seedlings of various plants. It helps the seedlings of annual and perennial plants to take root better. For conifers, zircon is beneficial in that it significantly increases the level of adaptation and germination of seeds, and also helps fresh cuttings to take root faster.
Zircon also makes plants more resistant to various diseases and helps them recover faster from pest attacks. After its application, they are less likely to get sick with fusarium, less often they are affected by various types of rot (gray, bacterial and others), late blight, powdery mildew and other infections.

Instructions for use
It is best to dilute zircon immediately before use, since it loses its properties during prolonged storage in a diluted form. In order for zircon to be useful for three days, it is necessary to store it in a place where sunlight does not fall. And dilute the drug exclusively with acidified citric acid water (for 10 liters, 2 grams of acid). Zircon ampoules should be stored at room temperature and shaken thoroughly before reconstitution.
Pre-planting processing
The zircon solution for pre-sowing soaking must be at room temperature. The dosage and time of soaking depends on which seeds will be used. For example, for cucumber seeds, 5 drops are enough per 1 liter of water. For other vegetables, you need at least 10 drops per liter. Flowers need a larger dose, for them it is necessary to dilute 1 ampoule of zircon per 1 liter of water. Soaking these seeds should take about 6-8 hours.
But potatoes, cuttings of trees and shrub flowers, corms of garden flowers must be soaked in a solution (1 ampoule per 1 liter of water) of zircon for at least a day.
Spraying during the growing season
During this period, plants need to be processed no more than once a week.Zircon is needed for those plants that have recently suffered a disease or survived the attack of harmful insects, suffered from a sharp temperature drop or from drought. Spraying is necessary in cloudy and always calm weather.
Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and eggplants should be sprayed after planting and during the period of active bud formation. For these vegetable crops, it is necessary to dilute 4 drops of the drug per 1 liter of water.
Seedlings of pears, apple trees, conifers, seedlings of melons, watermelons and zucchini must be treated with a solution of zircon with the same concentration as the above vegetable crops. This should be done immediately after planting and during the period of active bud formation.
For various berries, potatoes and cabbage, fifteen drops must be diluted in ten liters of water. And water in the same period as all previous plants.
Compatibility
Zircon has good compatibility with almost all agents that help fight harmful insects and various diseases, as well as growth stimulants. But there are still some that do not fit. In order to find out whether the drugs are compatible or not, you should mix a small amount of one and the other substance, pour it into water and mix well, if any of the two drugs has not dissolved and precipitated, then these drugs are not compatible.
Zircon can also be used to significantly enhance the action of fungicides, pesticides and insecticides.
Security measures
Zircon is a little dangerous preparation for humans, animals, bees and insects that does not harm plants. It does not stagnate in the soil and does not accumulate, does not get into ground and surface waters, and is absolutely non-phyto-toxic.
To work with the drug, it is imperative to wear special clothing. Which will cover the whole body. On the hands are thick rubber gloves, on the face a mask to protect the eyes and a respirator. After spraying, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water under running water, rinse your mouth and nose, take a shower and be sure to change into other clothes.
During spraying, it is forbidden to smoke, drink and, of course, eat.
It is necessary to dilute the drug with special care so as not to spill. But if, nevertheless, such a situation happens, then the substance must be sprinkled with sand or clay, then carefully collected in a bag, tightly tied and disposed of as household waste. To prepare the solution, it is necessary to use exclusively household containers, but in no case food containers.
First aid
Although Zircon is not particularly dangerous for humans, contact with the skin should still be avoided.
- If the solution gets on open areas of the body, then they must be urgently rinsed thoroughly under running water.
- If zircon somehow got on the mucous membranes, then they must be immediately washed with a soda solution, and then with a large amount of running water.
- If the drug has got into the oral cavity, you should immediately rinse your mouth thoroughly with water, forcibly induce vomiting, then drink a few tablets of activated carbon and be sure to drink plenty of water.
Zircon storage
Zircon should be stored in a dry and dark place where the temperature does not exceed 25 degrees. Do not store near food, medicine. In a hard-to-reach place for children and animals. If you follow all of the above storage rules, then the drug will be valid for at least three years.
